Anna Papantoni

Anna is currently working as a researcher for the interdisciplinary research project “SIGN: Spatial reasoning about Cyprus: The influence of social information and geographical knowledge”. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Cyprus (2011). She also obtained a degree in Business Administration from the Cooperative State University of Heilbronn in Germany (2017) funded by Lidl Stiftung & Co.KG, Germany. During her studies in Germany she was trained as an Area Manager and she carried out research on employee satisfaction and workplace motivation. Currently she is a postgraduate student in Counseling Psychology at Neapolis University in Paphos, where she is pursuing her internship and conducting a master’s thesis with the title “An examination of the relationship between work-related stress, substance abuse, and resilience”. Her research interests include the study of stress and the prevention and treatment of psychosocial problems. As to her professional experience, she was involved as a Special Scientist (administrative support) at the Center for Applied Neuroscience, University of Cyprus.
