Juliana has finished her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. Afterwards she completed her MSc degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from IIT in 2005. At the University of Cyprus, in 2018 she received her PhD in Psychology and she is currently working in the Department of Social Services and Welfare from November 2018. She has worked as a Special Scentist both in teaching and research positions, starting from 2008-2014. She taught Introduction in Psychology course as a Special Scientist in teaching at the Psychology Department. She also was a Special Scientist in the Neurocognitive Lab from 2008 until 2014. Her research interests include cognitive reserve and healthy aging as well as the investigation of factors that contribute in the maintanance of cognitive performance in healthy adults”. Juliana has also practiced as a researcher with the SenseCog team, a research program.
