The Centre aims to promote the advancement of knowledge in applied neuroscience using synthetic theoretical and technological methods. The aim of its establishment is to cover an important scientific field and a range of disciplines so that Cyprus can continue to make a significant contribution to the development of applied neuroscience locally and internationally.   

Within the framework of the activities of the research centre, large databases will be created to meet the research needs for the description, assessment and treatment of neuropsychological and psychological disorders through procedures, methods and theoretical approaches based on modern neuroscience and biological approaches and understanding of behaviour. At the same time, cutting-edge research will be carried out on the etiological and maintenance factors of common learning, cognitive and behavioural disorders and will test treatment approaches appropriate for the local population.
