Andreas Chadjikyprianou

​Antreas Chadjikyprianou graduated from the University of Cyprus with a BA in Psychology. For the past 2,5 years he has been working as a Special Scientist at the “Centre for Applied Neuroscience”, where his main research interest and responsibility have been cognitive aging and the neuropsychological evaluation of middle-aged and elderly individuals, respectively.

Antreas has been coordinating a team which, under the leadership of Dr. Fofi Constantinidou, has been performing Neurocognitive Study of Aging. His duties include training researchers in administrating psychometric measures, interpreting and writing neuropsychological reports. He has worked with and evaluated individuals with dementia, MCI and normal cognitive aging.

Moreover, Antreas has been simultaneously undertaking Master’s degree in School Psychology and his main research focus is the effect of age and level of education in cognitive aging, thus combining his studies with his work. Antreas is member of American Psychological Association, and the International School Psychology Association. Lastly, he has a keen interest in public engagement and often presents his work on cognitive aging as well as strategies to improve cognitive function to lay audiences.​​​​​
